NYC personal trainers, PLEASE pay attention to your clients. I may sound like a jerk but I can’t stand it when I see so called “Personal Trainers” or “Performance Training Coaches”, texting or taking a phone call during a session. The client paid for your time and expertise, so you damn well better give them your full attention.

The other day I watched two personal trainers having a good ol’e time, chatting way, joking around etc…This is all good except for the fact that the client failed on his squats. If you’re going to have your client rep out you better be right behind them to call the lift.

The personal training industry is growing rapidly, let’s all work together to keep a code of conduct and maintain a level of professionalism. While we may not all work together on the same team, we all are in the same profession (personal training). Let’s represent the fitness and personal training field strong and with pride!
