Chris Matsui is a highly sought after Performance Training Coach in NYC who has worked with high-level athletes and general fitness clients of all ages and at every fitness level. He has a unique background that consists of personal training in the private setting and sports performance training at the professional and collegiate level. This blend of experiences presents you the best that each field has to offer.

Chris began his career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for East Carolina University while majoring in Exercise Sports Science. During that time, Chris was exposed to many athletes with a wide array of athletic abilities. He then moved on to work as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Carolina Panthers, where he contributed to the team’s overall athletic performance development. Chris then took his professional experience to become the Assistant Sports Performance Director at Velocity Sports Performance (Syosset, New York), where he and his staff developed individual strength and speed programs that were tailored to the needs of each individual athlete and fitness client.
