Personal Trainer education

Here at Fusion Performance Training, things are starting to get super busy with a number of new projects we’re working on. It’ll take some time but we’re pretty excited and hopefully we’ll be able to make a positive impact in the fitness field. With that said, during my downtime I try to stay up to date with quality training information, unfortunately in the over saturated and unqualified personal training field it’s hard to find. So I’m going to try to post articles or podcast that I’ve found to be very helpful and thought provoking on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for personal trainers and fitness enthusiast.

Let’s jump into!

Pete Dupuis

The first one article is from Pete Dupuis of Cressey Performance. Pete wrote a GREAT post regarding personal trainers looking to train “elite level” athletes. Seriously all personal trainers should read this.

Coach X

Fitness Articles

AKA Buddy Morris. If you don’t know who Buddy Morris is, you should be reading up on ALL his articles and books on EliteFTS. Plus the guy’s nickname is “Coach X”, how bad ass is that? With that said, his recent interview was spot on! The topic ranged from how to truly train an athlete, the difference between training an NFL player vs college player, and the reality of the strength and conditioning field.

Just do yourself and favor and pop download the interview on your phone and listen to it on your way to work, trust me.
