The “Adductor Rock Back” is a great movement to add into your warm up routine. Groin pulls are prevalent in a wide range of sports and this movement could help you stay healthy.

I was listening to the Strength Coach Pod Cast the other day on the topic of exercise equipment utilized and the coach’s skill level. With all the hype of new equipment, chains, prowlers, tires or whatever monumental piece the “In” things is, I believe the core to an athletes success is the Coach’s skill level.
The supplement industry is a BILLION dollar field. It’s crazy that people think a single pill will be the cure all, especially with all the knowledge that’s out there.
I’m sure many of you have heard this but it can’t be over stated, “A supplement is just that a SUPPLEMENT to help fuel an EXISTING strong diet.”
You can have the perfect diet on paper but when it comes down to execution, it’s a COMPLETELY different story. We’ve all been there, “I’ll have 5 no carb days, 1 low carb day , and a reefed day”. We build up these grand plans for success and go straight from A to Z. This type of planning usually sets you up for failure. Why? Because you didn’t build up to it.
Every few weeks I’ll plan to post a seminar, dvd, book, journal, etc… that I feel has benefited me in some way, so hopefully it can improve your skills too.

I’ve briefly talked about “Fascial Stretching” and the benefits of it in the past posts. As I was doing some research I found this from Tom Myers, looks like this week is going to be a tribute to Anatomy Trains!

Buckminster Fuller
Before I move into the concept of Tensegrity from Buckminster Fuller, I have to say that Tom Myers is a GENIUS, if you get a chance to watch him speak, GO! I know some questionable “Gurus” out there love him, which makes me question it a bit…but after reading his book and seeing him speak, I have to say that he definitely knows his stuff.

Better RESPECT the ‘Fuzz’
What does “Fuzz” has to do with our LACK of Mobility & Flexibility?
