This year my goal is to cook more often at home. This can be a bit difficult to do if you live in a typical Manhattan apartment where the kitchen is the size of a small desk, however I’m proud to say that I’m doing well so far.

If you’re not familiar with juicing, it basically involves extracting juice from fresh fruit and vegetables as either your full diet for a few days or part of your diet. The juicing phenomenon has recently exploded and has become a popular method to hopefully “detox” and/or lose weight. Personal trainers, dieters, and celebrities alike have all tried juicing in one form or another.

Over the last 12 years working in the NFL, NCAA, and now as a NYC personal trainer, I have dealt with many different goals. Throughout this time I’ve found that a single method can get you into the best shape of your life. No more fad diets, crazy non stop workouts, juicing, or supplements with this simple method you’ll look amazing, be strong, and feel great! So what is this method?
While I’d rather have whole foods, my hectic schedule as a personal trainer in NYC makes supplementation a necessary factor to sustain train at a high level and to recover quickly. Unfortunately, like most people, I really don’t like the taste of protein or amino acid powders. If I do find something I’m fond of, I usually get sick of it pretty quickly. This is probably why my cabinet is full of barely used protein and amino acid powders = wasted money.
